Maker is someone who provides liquidity to the market by placing orders on the order book. Unlike traditional order books, the maker in DracoDex does not place orders at discrete price points. Instead, orders are placed within a range with a 0.05% distinction. If a taker comes to take the order placed in this range, the transaction price will be ensured to occur within this range. For users, this is virtually indistinguishable from point-like prices, and for the protocol, this will significantly reduce the gas costs of storage and matching. We believe this is a highly efficient balance.

It's also important to note that unlike traditional centralized order books, if a maker's order is taken and executed by a taker, you must manually retrieve the filled order to complete the entire transaction.

Makers will be rewarded with $DRACO. The specific reward rules will be introduced in the Liquidity Mining section.

Currently, we do not charge any fees to makers. This rate may change in the future, and any changes will be publicly announced at least 7 days before they are officially implemented.
